Where are you located? +

I am located in Atlanta, GA.

What are your live painting sizes and prices? +

24x30in. is my favorite size and the one I recommend. Please send me an email for a pricing sheet and additional info as prices depend on travel and day of the week.

Do you travel? +

Yes, although my travel is limited. Please submit an inquiry form on my website that includes your venue address so I can make sure it falls within my travel radius.

Do we or the venue need to provide anything for you? +

No, I bring all of my supplies with me- easel, canvas and a mobile cart with my painting supplies.

I will need to be relatively close to an outlet for my easel light. I have an extension cord if needed.

What is your timeline on the wedding day? +

I arrive to the venue 2 hours early to start painting in the background. Then, I will take a photo of whatever "scene" we have agreed upon. I continue to paint into the night and finish it up on site by the end of the reception.

how do i secure my spot/what are the next steps? +

If you would like to move forward with the booking process, I ask for half down as a deposit and a signed contract. Once that is signed and the deposit is paid, you are officially booked!

once we have sent the contract back to you can we change some of the details? +

It depends.

Once you have signed the contract, the wedding date is binding and cannot be changed. The location of the venue can be changed, but additional travel fees may apply. The "scene" being painted as well as the canvas size can be changed at any point up until the day before the wedding.

My ceremony and reception are at different locations- can you move between the two? +

(This question only applies if you are wanting a scene from the ceremony painted)

It depends.

If the ceremony and reception venue are on the same property- then yes- I can paint the ceremony scene then move to the reception.

If the ceremony and reception venue are at different locations requiring transportation between the two- then no- I will set up at the reception venue and paint a reception scene.

I do this so that I can spend as much time as possible painting and not stopping/starting to set up!

What scene do you recommend be painted? +

  • First time walking down the aisle as husband and wife
  • First kiss while walking back down the aisle
  • First dance
  • Candid entrance scene into the reception

I encourage you to choose a scene that includes/showcases the most venue detail as it will make for a more interesting background of the painting.

What if you are booked for my wedding date? +

If I am booked for your actual wedding date, I can always paint portraits from photos. Once you get your wedding photos back, I can email you a sizing/pricing chart. Having a portrait painted from your wedding day is a unique way to archive this special day!

How would you describe your painting style? +

I would describe my painting style as somewhat realistic with a whimsical twist. I aim for a portrait quality on the bride and groom with other detials such as venue and bridal party more "loosely" painted.

Do you only do live paintings at weddings? +

No, live paintings are great entertainment at corporate events, charity benefits, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Can I choose who is in my painting? +

I would love to discuss your vision for the painting and the aspects of your day that you would like highlighted in it.
